About Us

A Full Service ICI contractor who is currently enjoying over ten years of operation since inception. Ubcon Construction Ltd.  is owned and operated by Sean Ubdegrove GSC. Established in 2007, Ubcon Construction Ltd.  serves clients in and around South Eastern Ontario.

Sean’s drive to pursue a career in the construction industry began at an early age.  After working in the industry throughout his teenage years, Sean enrolled in the Civil Engineering Technology course at St. Lawrence College. After graduating from S.L.C. as a Civil Engineering Technologist he began his career working for a design builder in Kingston Ontario. As a Draftsperson and Project Coordinator he worked close with Project Managers and Designers to establish attractable and economical designs. Sean’s next step moved him to another local general contractor as an Estimator and Project Coordinator, here he learned the ropes of hard bid projects focused around a government base.

As a Project Coordinator assisting in projects ranging from five thousand to over ten million dollars Sean was exposed to various aspects of managing a variety of construction projects. Again, it was time to explore the industry further and Sean joined a country wide firm and started work in Alberta. This road led to the oil sands projects where the size and complexity of construction projects is taken to a whole new level. After some time in Alberta, Sean knew the next step would be to launch his own business, and in 2007 Ubcon Construction Limited was successfully launched. The company continues to grow and is well known within the community.
